Heights Hotel in Dorset went live with Avon Data’s property management system Hotel Executive in November 2017 and has seen a major boost in day-to-day efficiency as a result.
Jenny Eyles, sales manager at Heights Hotel, said: “Adopting Avon Data’s PMS Hotel Executive has saved our staff so much time they can concentrate on selling hotel rooms.
“It’s a far more advanced system than the one we used before.
“As well as being much easier to operate, there is far more detail in the analytics. We have a team of ten receptionists and we all find it user friendly.”
Jenny added Avon Data had offered top-class customer service and two free training courses to help the team with their transition onto the new system.
She said: “We searched online for a new property management system and found Avon Data.
“It is a family business and they have been brilliant. You can always speak to someone if you need to and, if you need to log a fault, they are very good in terms of dealing with it.
“We are still in a learning position at the moment. Going forwards, we look forward to making the most out of the marketing tools.
“Avon Data spent three days with us for training just before we went live with the system.
“We then went to Bristol to spend two days topping up our training and sharing further questions we had.”
